ABOUT VANESSA FROST
When Vanessa Frost hits the floor, for the few seconds she’s on, global temperatures rise a little quicker. An undeniable ruler of sensuality and seduction, this New Legend has mastered the art of Sex Siren and a slew of other categories over her twelve years in Ballroom—snatching well over thirty OTYs and $15,000 in cash prize wins in the process. One of eight founders of the Missouri Ballroom Council, Vanessa recently made history by becoming the very first Midwest Mother of the Iconic House of Miyake-Mugler. Off the floor, she works to offer counselling and services to trans folks directly within her community.
ABOUT KING JAMES
Ballroom maverick King James West has the resume of a lifetime. With over fifteen years of experience, well over fifty OTYs, and over $20,000 in cash prize wins, this certified Icon never set out to be a catalyst for change in Ballroom—but that’s exactly what he’s become. As the Overall Father and one of four founders of the Captivating House of West, James brought passion, leadership, and a fresh perspective to the table, while still embracing Ballroom and its roots, from the shade to the love. Off the floor, James’s career allows him to look out for adolescents and younger folk, ages 15 to 24, both in and out of the of 2SLGBTQ+ community.
