Class of '23: Legendary Pusscee West

Joining the scene in 2012 and receiving her Legendary status just last year, Pusscee’s decade-long journey into Ballroom has been one of very few. A true prodigy—remaining undefeated as a Saint Laurent and becoming the third Butch Queen Vogue Fem to ever take home $5000 as a West—her talent, dedication, and flair have kept her on everybody’s lips and led her around the globe. Appearing on shows like Lee Daniels’ STAR and Lena Waithe’s Boomerang, she’s taught and performed in Brussels, Antwerp, Geneva, and Rome, and we’re absolutely thrilled to welcome her to Toronto for the very first time.

We wish to acknowledge the land on which we will be meeting for the Class of ’23 Series. For thousands of years, it has been the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit. We are grateful for the opportunity to host this event on this land.
